Tanya Kurzbock
Naturopath
Tanya Kurzbock has been practicing naturopathy and nutritional medicine for 11 years, guided by a belief that menopause is a natural transition, not a problem to be “fixed.” Tanya combines modern science with holistic therapies, helping women feel supported, informed, and in control of their health.
Tanya is particularly passionate about the move toward personalised, holistic menopause care—integrating gut health, sleep, stress management, and nutrition with tailored hormonal or non-hormonal treatments. She frequently applies the G.E.M.M. (Gut Ecology and Metabolic Modulation) protocol in chronic and complex cases to restore balance and vitality from within.
Her patients value her active listening and compassionate communication style, always feeling heard, validated, and empowered to make confident health decisions. As a Fellow and Accredited Member of the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society, Tanya also contributes to community wellbeing through local health talks, online webinars, and radio segments.
A proud achievement for Tanya is publishing a recipe book Leaner Me, and as a former zookeeper at Australia Zoo, she worked alongside Steve Irwin. Outside of clinical practice, Tanya lives on a small rural property where she grows her own vegetables and cares for a menagerie of animals. In her downtime, she enjoys exploring the countryside, taking long drives, and discovering new walking trails.
