Step 1: Initial Consultation
Your journey begins with a comprehensive telehealth consultation with one of our experienced doctors. This is bulk-billed and gap-free so there’s no cost to you. The doctor will assess your symptoms and health history to determine your menopause stage and explore whether prescription treatments — such as hormone therapy — are suitable for you.
If prescription medication isn’t appropriate, we’ll offer you a free consultation with a naturopath or nutritionist to explore natural options.
For safety, we don’t offer telehealth services to women needing in-person care, such as those undergoing active cancer treatment or has other health risk factors.

Here’s how it works — in just three simple steps.
Step 2: Join the Program
Based on your consult, your doctor will create a personalised care plan — this may include Menopausal Hormone Therapy like Estradiol or Progesterone, lifestyle recommendations, or natural supplements.
If our healthcare team determines that our program is suitable for you, we will contact you to talk through the plan and get you set up.
Step 3: Ongoing Support & Access
For $99/month, enjoy unlimited access to our experienced menopause care team of doctors (gap-free bulk-billed, eligibility criteria apply), nurses, naturopaths and nutritionists.
Medications are charged separately, so you only pay for what you need. If you wish for us to arrange your medication fulfilment, our partner pharmacy will dispense and deliver to your door, at no extra charge to you.
You’ll also join a supportive community of over 5,000 women, get wellness perks including exclusive discounts on supplements and beauty products and gain early entry to our menopause app.

The Emsee Menopause Program is designed for real life—convenient, compassionate, and customised to you.
In general, the doctor will not require a blood test prior to commencing you on treatment. This is because hormonal fluctuations are best represented by your symptoms over a period of time rather than a blood test at one point in time. Once you begin the treatment program, the doctor may organise blood testing for you as a monitoring tool. Of course, certain patients with pre-existing conditions may require screening testing prior to treatment.
The treatment program fee is not covered by Medicare, however your consult is.
Menopause is defined as when a woman has not had a period for 12 months. The age menopause starts varies from woman to woman but generally occurs in the late 40s or early 50s. At this time there is a drop in the oestrogen and progesterone produced by the ovaries which results in women experiencing symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, irritability, headaches and low libido just to name a few. 8 out of 10 women will experience the symptoms associated with menopause and most of these can be treated.
