Professor Doris Young is a Board Member of Emsee, contributing decades of expertise in academic medicine, general practice, and chronic disease research to support Emsee’s mission in women’s health. Doris has been the Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne since 2019.
Throughout her career, Doris has been a leader in general practice education and health systems reform, with a focus on improving outcomes for disadvantaged and multicultural communities. She has held senior academic and advisory roles both in Australia and internationally, including as Professor in the Division of Family Medicine at the National University of Singapore.
A passionate mentor and educator, Doris has helped shape the next generation of general practitioners and clinical researchers, leaving a lasting impact on the discipline of primary care. Her commitment to holistic, evidence-based healthcare aligns deeply with Emsee’s vision for integrated menopause support.
