Julie Forrester is a naturopath with five years of clinical focus at the intersection of women's hormonal health and gut health — two systems she recognises as deeply and inseparably connected. She specialises in perimenopause and menopause, bringing both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, having navigated perimenopause herself while studying naturopathy.
Julie's approach centres on the understanding that perimenopause is a natural transition and a meaningful opportunity to optimise diet, lifestyle, and stress resilience — not only for symptom relief, but to build the foundation for long-term bone, brain, and metabolic health. Her practice integrates nutrition, herbal medicine, and evidence-informed lifestyle strategies, with a particular interest in the human microbiome and circadian rhythm as foundational drivers of whole-body health.
Currently completing a Master of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University, Julie is also a corporate and community speaker and co-hosts The Nuanced Naturopaths podcast.
Outside the clinic, Julie is a proud mother and grandmother who finds her balance through meditation, time in nature, singing, knitting, and cooking.
